We are delighted that Abhijata S. Iyengar has confirmed her participation in the IYENGAR Yoga Convention 2024.
She will be coming to Bregenz on Lake Constance/Austria from 27 – 29 April 2024 (Saturday – Monday).
Abhijata is one of the most experienced teachers at RIMYI in Pune and has been seriously involved in the practice and philosophy of yoga since the age of 16.
As the granddaughter of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar, she has been directly taught and mentored by him – as well as by Geeta and Prashant, her aunt and uncle – and therefore has a wealth of knowledge to share with us. Abhi was already at the convention in Cologne with Geeta Iyengar in 2009 and also accompanied her to international conventions in the UK, Australia and the USA to support her. She has also travelled to international conventions with BKS Iyengar. In 2012 she taught the convention in Munich/Wolfrathshausen and left a very strong impression as an inspiring teacher with a clear teaching concept.
We are expecting three very inspiring days for all those who want to deepen their understanding of the Iyengar yoga method.

Props

Please bring 1 yoga mat, 3 yoga blankets, 1 belt and 1 block. For logistical reasons, props cannot be rented on site.

Prerequisites

One year of Iyengar yoga practice is required for participation.
